Coexistence of Diaphragm Eventration and Thoracic Ectopic Kidney

Abstract Diaphragm eventration is partial or complete elevation of the diaphragm as a result of failure of muscular development. While diaphragm eventration has no symptoms in some cases, it may also cause life threatening problems. Thoracic ectopic kidney is a rare anomaly and usually does not produce symptoms. A 4-month-old male patient who has diaphragm eventration with left ectopic thoracic kidney was described in this case report. Keyword : Diaphragm; Ectopic kidney; Eventration; Thorax
