Abstract

A 30-month old boy presented with acute flaccid paralysis of the left leg. Electrodiagnostic studies revealed reduced amplitude of compound muscle action potential and prolonged F wave latencies. Magnetic resonance imaging of spine showed signal abnormality in the region of anterior horn cell in the spinal cord. Extensive virological tests in stool and blood samples were negative.

一名 30 月大男孩臨床表現為左腿急性弛緩性麻痺。肌電學診斷顯示複合肌運動電位的振幅有所減弱和 F 波的潛伏期有所延長。脊柱磁力共振顯示脊髓前角細胞存在信號異常。而大便及血樣本中沒有呈現濾過性病原。
