Abstract

Non-operative management is the current mainstay of treatment for hepatic blunt trauma unless haemodynamic instability is present. Evidence for hepatic artery embolisation (HAE) for ongoing bleeding in hepatic trauma is well established in adults but there are only several case reports in the paediatric population. We herein report the first paediatric case of isolated grade IV hepatic injury successfully managed with primary HAE at our institution.

非手術治療目前仍然是對肝臟鈍器傷的主流治療，除非出現血流動力學不穩定。對肝臟創傷活動性出血進行肝動脈栓塞，在成人中有充分證據支持，但對病童組別僅有少數病例報告。作者報告在所在醫院的首例使用肝動脈栓塞成功治療單一肝臟創傷IV級兒童。
